Runners love that the organizers of the Kansas City Marathon go out of their way to upgrade this event every year—improving the expo location, providing new amenities, and reinventing the swag from one race to the next!

The course shows off many of KC’s iconic landmarks and neighborhoods, so it’s a great way to see most of the city if you are visiting from out of town. Most importantly, runners praised the midwestern charm of this race.
