This is a BIG race, meaning a lot of people but I love Philly & the passion of the city is in full display in the BSR! Plan ahead due to the volume of people but it will pay off in the great race.
The easiest way is to stay in the city or park at the stadiums & take the subway to the start. Enjoy some Brotherly Love on this run!

I loved the challenge of this course most hills in 2nd half of race. Top notch expo, great race day management, great support at aid stations, & neighborhoods. The crowd support in 2nd half of the race was great!
Honoring military near & on "the hill" certainly gave me a gut check. If they could sacrifice for me, my butt better keep moving.

I believe that 2014 was the 1st year for the race in Philly. It was well organized & functioned very well from packet pick-up to our tasty post race treat! The course is Jice but if you run in Philly you have run Kost of this course before. We went down the parkway for the first part of the race which was different but then came back to follow West River Dr.
If you want to visit & run Philly this is a great opportunity! If you run Philly a lot, the swag may tickle your fancy give it a shot!
