I have participated every year. The shirt quality is exactly what you get at 99% of the events. It is a Tech Shirt...had a cute design. I liked the TulTex blended shirt a little bit better that was given a few years ago.
The Medals...are plain and simple AMAZING. The medals are great for the 5k, Half and the LD. I look forward to the medals and the ribbons every year, one of the main reasons I come back.
Awards, are always wonderful homemade awards. I am sure it is hard to find Halloween themed trophies, and the effort they put into the awards is much appreciated. They are extremely cute and well done

I don't care for Starkey, I liked the course over at Gill Dawg MUCH better, but it is what it is. I understand the logistics is much easier in a controlled park, like Starkey.

The race is not big enough to warrant a CHIP to CHIP start. You are talking a little over 100 people...what did it take a whole second to cross the start? The times are just a accurate using Gun to Chip as Chip to Chip. It is a race, not a time trial.

The a few downsides to the race...the start was not marked. that was frustrating to all. A simple over site by a new group. I am sure they have learned the importance and this type of mistake will not happen again.

Aid stations, should have been a bit better. Offering more than water. Food, gummies, something for a half is important. I would have also liked to see some bathrooms by the start and out on the course. Again, nothing that would prevent me from coming back.

Post race food....not much. Bananas out in a box, granola bars...should defiantly see better post race food. This was surprising since in the past they offer breakfast burritos, beers, rice & beans, etc...

It seems that after the start fiasco, it made it hard for some people to relax and enjoy the event. Overall the race was a nice hometown event. Yes, I will be back. I enjoyed the event and look forward to seeing this new group that host FrankenFooter grow and make it great again.
