The San Francisco Marathon gives you the opportunity to experience the city by foot, with breathtaking views and unique city sights. The marathon course takes you around the city, starting off on the Embarcadero, running across the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park, Haight/Ashbury and Mission districts, into Mission Bay, and passes AT&T Park, finishing just before the Ferry Building. I made mental notes along the way of all the places I wanted to go back to explore a bit further! I never truly appreciated the beauty of San Francisco until I ran this marathon last year! The community support along the way is phenomenal, cheering you on every step of the way. It's an experience not to be missed! Looking forward to July 27, 2014!
