We picked to run this race because it was on Mother's day, and it felt like an awesome way to celebrate the day.

Bib pick up was not well marked, and with the rain on Saturday it was a little frustrating to be walking around trying to find our bibs and shirts.

We loved the race shirt, and the running hat was an amazing perk!

The course was beautiful, the beauty of the Brandywine park and river really surprised us. We believe the best way to see a city is to run it, and we were glad for our exploration of this city.

The aid stations were fantastic! lots of volunteers and well stocked with Gatorade and water. I believe one also had gels, but I didn't take one because I do not use gels. Cops through out the city did a great job at directing traffic and keeping runners safe on half open roads.

The medal was a very cool and displayed the city outlines.

The course markings were confusing, maybe I missed this on an email, and it took me a while to figure out why some said 3 miles, while others said 10. I figured out half way through the race that the color of the marker matched the color of the bibs.

Overall, this was an great race. I only hoped for a bigger expo and clearer Bib pick up markings prior to the race. We hope to be back next year.
