I had a great time at the Fort Worth Marathon. I chose the 20 mile distance. The course was along the beautiful Trinity River but it was pretty crowded at points as they let the half marathoners start and run the same route. The 20 mile turn around was not clearly marked like the other distances were and many people missed it. The course was flat and beautiful and if it wasn't for the crowded trail or lack of direction at the turn around it would have been a 5 star race. The water stations were plentiful but didn't have any nutritional snacks or bars along the course. Overall it was a good course and I will be back next year.

BGC Racing has the best swag. This year they even added a double dip medal for finishers who also ran the Fresh 15 in the same year. The expo was a little crowded with families and a lot of the items were gone before the racers made their way in. The course was well managed and plenty of water stations, ports potties, and fuel being handed out. It's for a great cause and I look forward to next years run!

The Brookshires's Race series are the absolute best when it comes to swag. High quality medals and long sleeve pull overs. Finishers also receive a blanket and the expo is filled with vendors and fun! The course is through neighborhoods with families and kids lining the way with cheering and signs. It's by far one of my favorite races I will be doing every year.

This race is along the Texas / Arkansas state line. You run though neighborhoods with lots of cheering and excitement, there weren't as many water stations as other halfs I've ran but thankfully I brought my handheld bottle. The big cookout at the finish line was delicious and I was happy they had chicken and hamburger options. The shirts were nice long sleeves but there was no expo with vendors going on. I will do this race each year! It's a great fast course that I go all out on and have PRd both years I've ran it!
