The Coastal 5k was a great race. The course was flat and well maintained with police serving as marshals. My only bad mark for the course was right before the finish line, the last 50 yards, had a lot of pot holes and uneven surface. Overall it was a great race for my first one in South Carolina and look forward to running it again in the future.

The Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon has become one of my favorite half's outside of Disney races. I was surprised how organized it was with the amount of runners that participated. The course was relatively flat and had some of the best views I have ever seen. With the exception of the host hotels and the issue with transportation I enjoyed the race and look forward to running it again in the future.

The Orange Blossom Half was my first non Disney run and it left such a good impression that I ran most of the Sommer Sport races since. The OBH 10k is a very hilly out and back course that takes you thru the farm land in Hanes City, Florida. The first mile is up hill at gain of aprox 185 feet. Hands down it was the most challenging terrain that I've ran to date but thats what made it fun. The course was well maintained and had plenty of police to stop traffic. The highlight of the race for me was the beautiful views of the country side. The post race swag is one reason why I love Sommer Sport races which included food and beer from local craft breweries. This is my favorite race and I will be participating in it every year.
