This was a great race! After running both Chicago and New York, I was on the fence about running this one too, but I am really glad I did! The expo is really nice and well organized, I just wish they would have it somewhere else than the Monona Terrace. That place is hard to park at (one way street) and the lot was full when I got there. The race shirts are kind of thin, but that's ok, they still had a nice design on them. What I really enjoyed was the course scenery. It was a beautiful course, and a beautiful day out (once it warmed up a bit!). The only problem I had with the course is all the dang hills! There are SO MANY! Other than that I really enjoyed this run!

This was a tough marathon for me this year! I don't know why, I just didn't run as well as I would have wanted to.

Expo: Expo was well set up, easy to get to and easy to go through.
T-shirts: Not going to lie, was kind of disappointed in the design. It's nice quality and they let you try on shirts before picking *which is awesome. After buying New York gear from New Balance before the race, I was just expecting more from the shirt.
Aid Stations: Fabulous- wish they had more biofreeze
Course Scenery: The bridges are beautiful, however there were some lulls in the scenery.
Elevation: There are some hills...
Parking: I did not have to park, however I did have to get the start from Manhattan. I took the ferry, then the buses and it was SO EASY. I was so worried I would get lost, but no, not the case at all. Very well set up.

This was my first marathon and I'm so glad that it was! I enjoyed every second of it!
T-shirts: Super cute, wish they set it up like New York though, where you try on the shirt first and then pick which one you want. Trying to exchange shirts was kind of a cluster.
Aid stations: Great!
Course Scenery: Very pretty, a great view of Chicago.
Expo quality: Good! easy to get through
Elevation: flat course!
Parking/access: my hotel was across the street from the entry points (stay at congress!)
