Overall, the race was a fun experience and the course was flat and fast. GPS was all over the place so be prepared for that. I had it on autolap but the mileage was off within the first few miles and my lap pace was reading some crazy numbers. Pace starts to become more accurate as you head out toward the water but while running the streets of the city, my numbers were crazy off.
SWAG - The shirt and the coffee mug was great and super cute!
Aid Stations - I am not a huge fan of Nuun during races so that was a bummer but there were definitely a good amount of aid stations. I was happy about the Honey Stinger on the course but would have liked it a little earlier than 8.5.
Course Scenery - The course went through the city and then out along the water.
Expo Quality - Expo was great. Not too overwhelming but big enough to make it exciting.
Elevation Difficulty - The course is mostly flat but that mile 7.5 hill is BRUTAL. There are also parts that were banked which is not my favorite.
Parking - I traveled with my mom so she drove me to the start but she was able to get a parking spot at the start and then she drove to mile 7-9. It was a little harder to park in those areas because they closed off the bridge but she found a spot about 3/4 mile from the course.

The race is very low key but an awesome and beautiful run. There isn't an expo, it's just bib pickup at a running store. Shirts were a nice T-shirt, medals were super cool and at the finish line you get a race water bottle full of water! The course is super flat and you are covered with shade for the first 7 miles which is great for a June half marathon! I ran a 3 year PR on this course despite some the heat! You run through the Ithaca farmers market which can be rocky and slow you down. The first 8 miles is almost entirely straight but once you come out of the trail path, there are A LOT of twists and turns and over bridges. Overall it is a very flat, fast and beautiful course but the constant turns in the second half can slow you down a bit.
