This race was a lot of fun. Started out flat across a field and quickly turned into the woods and rolling hills. Was really muddy which made it a lot of fun. Terrain was not overly difficult. Beautiful scenery. One area was on top of a ridge overlooking a lake. Only one significant climb on the 10k which I ran. Had 1 aid station at the 25k/10k split. Finishers ‘medal’ was unique as it was a piece of wood with the race logo burned it to it. Got a tasty cinnamon roll at the finish. Very well put on race!
