This course was absolutely beautiful, they had to change the route because a river was too high to cross but it did not disappoint. For safety, no headphones were allowed and this made the race experience awesome for me - 99% of the people I passed said "good job" or "good morning". The volunteers were all fantastic cheerleaders and offered to take photos for runners.
The t-shirts are dark gray and pretty minimal which I like in a race shirt. Other than the shirt there was no swag that I saw but plenty of snacks and packet pick up.
This trail was much harder than I anticipated, it was more of a hike but I never doubted I would get hurt or not finish. I would 100% recommend this race if you're looking to get away from concrete and looking for a challenge.
