I have done the Publix 5k for the past 2 year with my best friend. We purchase the VIP package which is great because you get a small breakfast (muffins, fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal) after the race as well as bottomless mimosas. This year they changed the route and I didn't like it as much as the previous year, however it was still a relatively scenic route. The only thing I would change is maybe having 1 or 2 additional porta-potties on the route. There were only 2 that I saw and the line was about 8 people deep. I will definitely be doing this race again!
