This was my first year to run the Public Women's Half Marathon and it was my 5th Half Marathon. Pre-race communication could have been better. The expo was fantastic, although I would have rather received a race t-shirt than a duffel bag. The pre-race was well organized and they did a great job getting everyone in corrals and off on time. The course was beautiful and extremely flat making for a fast course and great race to PR. The finish line is the most beautiful entry into Forsyth Park by the big fountain and made for a beautiful backdrop! After receiving my medal (which was also beautiful and great quality), was handed a Public bag filled with snacks, water and a protein shake--thanks Publix. Overall, I would recommend this race to a friend and would consider running it again!
