PROs -The course provides some amazing views of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline.
Course is very flat.
The field was 3500 runners, so there was a lot of activity, without the overwhelming crowds in mega races.
Pre-race packet pickup and bag check were very smooth.
Pacers were available all the way up to at least 3:30 that I noticed

Cons - Late start of 8:30am makes for a very warm finish for slower runners/walkers
Hydrations stations did not provide nutrition anywhere along the route.They did offer gatorade and water at adequate distances, however. Just plan for your own fuel.

Overall - A very solid race that was well organized and provided amazing views. With NYCRuns taking over this race for the first time, I would expect that they continue to make improvments to this event.
