I don't have a passport, so I can't run the international half - but I would love to! I love that there is the option to run the domestic only race so that it's still an option for me. The course is easy and many folks to cheer you on along the way. I always had an easy time being picked up and dropped off. I've run this race twice now and would do it again!

I really liked this race. I hadn't totally trained for it, but the distance felt more manageable than a half marathon. The most memorable part of the race for me was finishing on the field at Soldier Field. I've never been in the stadium before so that was a cool first. They also called folks names out loud as they ran in; I felt like a professional athlete!

This was my first marathon. Lots of people cheering and it was cool running between two cities! The lakes were beautiful! It was really easy to get to and from the race because they had great public transportation. There were people on the sidelines with gatoraide, vasoline and anything else you can think of. It was hard, but this race was worth the effort!
