This race is fun and is held in Forest Park with the last mile running through the zoo. It is fun to run past the bears, flamingos, and other zoo animals. The after party is fun where you can splurge and get mimosas, bloody marys or even breakfast. The race is held every May and when else do you get a chance to run thru the zoo.

I really loved this race and being able to run thru a military installation for part of the race and being able to run alongside the ocean was stunning! I thank God for this gift of running. I felt the crowd support was awesome and I loved the whole race atmosphere and running in a beach town. I recommend this race because of the scenery, views and the sponsors.

What can I say about NY? I got in thru the lottery registration on my first try and I was really excited. I really loved running thru Brooklyn...the first 1/2 is ran thru there. Great spectators and the weather was great! I loved starting on top of the Verazzano Bridge and running out of Staten Island. I loved the sights of NYC and all of the spectators were top notch!
