I have run this race for several years, and this was my first time running it in September.
Covid has brought so many changes to our lives, and I loved getting back out with all my fellow runners and enjoying a great race . I can’t wait to see the cherry blossoms in the spring and run the beat course!

This race takes you through the heart of the town and the crowd support is amazing! The group that puts this together are top notch!! Love this race and I’ll run it till I can’t run anymore. I mean who’s doesn’t want to run with the marines??
Hospital 🏥 hill is tough and even tougher is the hill after that one. But that’s what makes the challenge even better. And bringing back the blue mile this year was amazing!!
