It was great seeing so many people dressed as gritty, myself included. Pre-race was great with music and gritty coming on stage. The little distractions on the course were funny with pictures of Giroux, stopping to take some basketball shots and hot dogs at the almost finish line.

Packet pickup was a breeze, got in and out pretty quickly. Parking day of I had no issues but I was also there a bit early so it could have gotten worse at time got closer.

This is such a fun race with costumes and the setting. There is no expo since you pick up your bib before the run and shirt after. Those hills are rough for sure but the down hills are great, even helped me pr for 5k so I loved that. After is a party with drinks and pretzels.

Timing isn't electronic, so if you're expecting race results right away that's not going to happen till they post the pdf of everyone's time. You have to rip off the part of your bib to be placed on a board.

I had no issues with parking but I can see there being some once the lots fill up.

This was my first time doing the Philly 10k. Packet pickup was easy with some good merch available to purchase. The shirt I loved the design and how soft it is.

Race ended up being a cooler day in August compared to normal so that was nice. Course was a switch up from the usual runs I do so that was definitely welcomed. Lots of people cheering, cops and volunteers stationed every so often. Quite a few aid stations as well. Was great to run across that finish line and have November Project announced when I did due to my tank I was wearing, so that was a cool moment being pointed out.

I didn't stick around for long after race cause crowded and I wasn't drinking. Ice cream/ice pops lines were long but I guess that's to be expected so it wasn't a big deal.
