I loved the neighborhood spirit battles! The half marathon course is lovely, but then the marathon course sets out on the most boring 2 mile stretch along a highway, which you come back on in the last few miles of the run. The expo was great and the post race party was phenomenal. The longer time limit was perfect for my first timer husband. The city of Savannah has loads to offer from historic sites to food and the charming southern hospitality.

I’ve done the Cowtown half for 5 years and it never let me down. As a MN runner, it was nice to get away at the end of winter for a fun warmer weather run. The race organizers are very responsive and helpful. I’ve seen some of the best signs on course at Cowtown. The post race festivities are always fun.
