The course was directly on the Pinellas trail with a 10k loop and a little extra at the beginning to make the full half distance. The track was flat with no elevation gains. The road crossings were policed to allow crossing without waiting for cars. The race was well organized, with plenty of parking available at the dunedin stadium a block from race start.
