This was a very memorable race. A fantastic opening ceremony that left everyone with a tear in their eye and an extra pep in their step.

The expo was decent sized but a bit cluttered. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

The race itself is decent. Running through the streets of Boston is certainly exciting.

Pros: The amount of Police, Fire, and EMS presence throughout the course giving support.

Cons: the t-shirt was extremely poor in quality, both of the medals (5 mile and half marathon) were identical, and there were very few clocks on the course. Also, once you cross the bridge, it is a very monotonous out and back along the river. This is for about a third of the overall distance.

Would I do it again? Yes- the cause behind the race is truly wonderful.
