I travelled all the way from Australia to compete in both the 10K and Half Marathon Challenge in March 2020. The 10k was not as well organised as the Half Marathon. Firstly, you could hardly hear anything that was being said during the race briefing because the sound system was so bad so it wasn't until the end of the race that i realised what they were telling everyone was that there was no medals for the race at the end because the delivery was delayed due to coronavirus. There was no "management' to be found so i asked a guy in the t-shirt collection area how i would get my medals as i was from overseas and he assured me they would be mailed to me. I waited for several weeks as i understood that there would be some disruption to their business because of the coronavirus and thought perhaps they would initiate some communication about the medals. After about a month of hearing nothing i contacted them via messenger and asked them wether they would send the medals to me. They assured me the medals would be mailed out soon and asked to confirm my address, which i did. However, it has been 6 months and i have not received any medals and i have messaged them numerous times and have received NO RESPONSE. Meanwhile i have seen them advertising next years race and proudly did a medal reveal for next years race when they haven't followed through with this years race. I now have jaded memorise of this event as a result. And incredibly disappointed that they have decide to simply ghost people who travelled half way across the world for their event.
