It's a nice half marathon course that takes you from downtown Lansing to MSU and along the river trail. The course is not too hilly and usually has decent weather. The finish line in the stadium is nice and I really appreciate that they have pacers. I've even gotten a PR both times I've run this race!

I loved this race! At the start you get to run through town, then you run up through the middle of the island, and end the race running along the shore. There is one large hill while you are heading into the inside of the island but it is not too long. It’s one of the most scenic races I’ve run. Also, their shirts are always great!
