I ran this with my son (as punishment for his grades). He was NOT happy about it, but he did it and I was proud! He kept trying to walk on me, ugh! The course goes through downtown Lexington, KY. A little out and back on a main road going out of the Downtown area. The scenery is basically downtown, then older homes, turn around and back downtown. A plus is that it's really flat! I would recommend this race as a part of a training plan. It's nice to sprinkle in "training races" to run with a group to challenge you. Look at the picture and my son's face!!! Hahahaha!
