Beautiful race in a Texas tourist town. As someone who loves bling, I was disappointed that only age group winners got any. Other than that, I loved the run, there was plenty of parking, and everything was well-organized. The town has a lot to offer tourists, so it’s worth the drive. They just need to add bling for everyone!

Scallywompus has quickly become my favorite race company in my new home area. They know how to communicate, and they especially know how to put on a party! There is cool swag, and thoughtfulness put into every aspect of their events. Plus, with Scallywompus, there’s always a scenic route! And plenty of beverages! Cheers!

Favorite race to date. They have exciting themes and the BEST MEDALS!!! My sons and I traveled just for the bling. The marathon medal is the size of a dinner plate— no joke! Lots of sparkle. This is a FUN race... Definitely add it to your race bucket list. You won’t be disappointed! Everything was super organized with lots of communication!
