You know the race is going to be fun when you see the same person at your hotel checkin, the fish boil and the start line. We also forgot out tickets for the post race dance and they remembered our names! Well organized and a net down hill dirt road course. Some soft sand patches but nothing that would slow you down.

This is the race of all races and can be met with heat or cold. It was raining on and off for the 2015 race and I wore my throw away shirt for the first 10 miles (Until it was soaking wet). I thought about a “kiss” at half way but I was rolling along so well I didn’t want to stop. I thought the Newton Hills were going to kill me but I actually made up time! So much noise at the end and so much fun.
