Communication following the deferred registration due to the pandemic left a lot to be desired; unfortunately it was sporadic and unclear, with the only clarity being provided a few days before the race, making it difficult to make appropriate plans. In the past, I have always heard really positive reviews, so I only had their feedback from years prior to compare it to. The expo itself was very scarce with little energy, the t-shirts were not ready for pick up, and the vendors were far and few between. I felt bad for them as much as I felt for myself. The t-shirts provided post race were not the ones that were advertised. I assume that the shipment didn't arrive and they chose their quickest option, however you can tell that quality took a major hit. Post race beer was non-alcoholic, which was fine but strange and unexpected. And lastly, the medal. That thing just seemed so small compared to previous years.

My running experience was great and I had fun getting out there and competing with everyone, but overall experience was just disappointing - little to no live music on the course, no clear parking. However as mentioned, the course itself was great, just enough hills and flat areas to make it enjoyable. If I weren't from the city myself, I may feel differently.
