We lucked out with a beautiful chilly fall day - perfect for racing! I’d heard this course had some hills, and that was no lie. There was a massive one within the first mile, and continued ones throughout. The entire race is on paved path or road and was well marked, with police at intersections.
The corrals for time were very loose, and the actual start chute was incl redo my narrow which delayed people actually starting the race. There were a few water stops throughout the course that also had Gatorade.
At the end of the race you got a nice coffee mug and a medal, then could grab your caramel apple and hot cider. I liked the cider and didn’t care for the apple. The quarter zip technical pulllover you got at packet pickup is pretty cheap quality to be honest, so I wasn’t a fan. It’ll do for things like painting or yard work when I need something I can get messy. A bit expensive of a race to me, but I also signed up only a couple weeks prior.
