This was my first time doing the Indy Mini and it was so fun!

The Expo was organized nicely and pickup was quick.

Indy weather is May can be tricky, but this year morning temps were perfect for shorts/tank and no rain.

The course itself is fun with entertainment and plenty of aid stops along the way. But the best part is you also get to run ON the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and kiss the bricks!

After the race, you earn a very nice medal, and the post-race area has plenty of food/beverage options, plus photo ops, massages and more. If considering this race-Do It!

Such a fun fall experience!

There is ample parking nearby, and you can pick up packets day before or morning-of.

You have the ‘Tough Pumpkin’ option which awards and extra medal if you carry a pumpkin on your run.

The scenery is through downtown which is nice, the only downfall being both years 2021 and 2022 the short was only 3.0 miles rather than 3.1.

The shirts are always nice hooded tech shorts with a pumpkin (different colors each year) and a cool medal too. You also get a cup of apple cider at the finish and a pumpkin to take home (even if you don’t do the tough pumpkin).

Such a fun fall run!

My 1st 13.1 and chased this for 3 years-totally worth it!

The Expo was easy to find without a long wait. A few vendors were present which was nice, too.

We stayed within walking distance of the start line, and the only complaint was bag Chaco being located inside the start corral, so once lining up began fighting the crowd to your pace was a bit stressful.

The course was great with plenty of aid stations.

The best part is the after party! Food, bourbon tastings, and a live band followed with the option to do a Bourbon Walk to collect pins.

Can’t wait to do this again in 2023!

Love running and donuts? This is your jam!

Happens annually in December, a fun festive run with an aid station serving up donuts at every mile. The weather can be a bit unpredictable (rain this year) but always fun and worth it!

And if it can’t get any sweeter, the shirts (I’ve gotten 1 long sleeve and 2 short sleeve over the last 3 years) and stocking hats are always super cool!

The race is family and dog friendly with even more donuts available afterwards.

Dress in your fave holiday gear and have a great time!
