As always, the Rock and Roll Marathon Series races are AMAZING. Best expos, best swag, and a massive amount of runners and support. Really gets your adrenaline pumping. Now, this particular course though has by far been one of the most difficult. It's HILLY! The first half isn't bad at all. It's at about mile 16 when you start hitting a rolling hill course.

I unfortunately didn't do much hill training and ever since this race I always work some in so I'm always prepared. LOL. The course itself is beautiful. I'd never been to Seattle but loved the city and running throug hit. The temps were PERFECT! It rained all day the day before, it rained UP to the start... but stopped just long enough for me and my friends to finish... then rained some more. The cloud covere kept us cool and made for great marathon weather!

Despite the hills and my lack of getting a PR on this race, I still recommend it for the city. Seattle's a great place to visit and explore. And if you work in a little hill work during your training, you'll have no problem out on the course. I'm sure I'll be back to run the RnR Seattle Marathon again very soon!
