Local trail race just south of Victor, NY, a southern suburb of Rochester, NY. This trail race begins by running a path cut through local prairie and then heads downhill through the woods and then back into prairie before hitting single-track. Then the course cuts through a few areas and eventually arrives at the bottom of a hill where you switchback up for a while before cutting back down and around the hill to come up sharp and steep to the top with a great overview of the whole valley below. Then the course reenters the woods and heads back down and rejoins what you've run before as you head back home. The race director gives every participant a small bottle of champagne at the finish and there were plenty of raffle prizes. Food included gazpacho and all types of treats. Very fun and great race!
