We got into town late Friday and hit the expo at Nike on Saturday. It was easy in/out. Nike was selling extra Run Miami tanks which were a bonus because they did not have any other merchandise. However the race tank/swag was awesome so bonus of two great shirts!!! We also loved walking around the area shopping and grabbing lunch.

The emails/communication before the race indicated parking could be tough. We had a bit of a walk to get to the start and got there with 10 minutes to spare. That was the only downfall for not parking in a garage/flat fee parking.

The race course was awesome and flat! The 6:15am start helped keep things cool. The route was scenic and you caught views of numerous neighborhoods. The water stations had great volunteers - cheering and supporting.

The course came back to South Beach by looping along the water until making its way back to the finish. There were tons of people cheering making it a fun finish by the beach!

The post-race party was great! Drinks, food, music and a great place to relax post-race!

I would do this race again as an annual late winter getaway!
