I took part in the Virtual At-Home Edition of the Falmouth Road Race this year in 2023. It was such a fun experience! Throughout the months leading up to the race, I was able to connect with many runners also taking part in either the at-home or in-person versions of the race, which was great for building up a community!

The At-Home edition of the race was fantastic! It provides great flexibility for those who want to take part in such a great tradition and incredible event but may not be able to make it to the in-person race for various reasons. The 7 mile distance is pretty unique in the running/racing world, and it definitely creates a fun and unique challenge for training and race day! One of the awesome things about the At-Home edition is that you can create and map out your own course in the comfort of your hometown or wherever you may be during race week. You also have several days to complete the 7 miles and can either do them all at once (as I did), or spread out over the course of several days, which makes it a great race for anyone!

The race kit/package came in a fun box and had everything, including your bib, finisher medal, BibBoards bib fasteners, a commemorative coffee mug, a reusable shopper bag, MV sea salts, and even sidewalk chalk so you that you could create and draw out your own personal finish line, which I thought was really cool and unique to the race and provided a fun way to personalize that finish line feeling we all love!

This was such a fantastic experience, and I loved being a part of it and would definitely recommend it to everyone!
