laura 's thoughts:
Coming from Florida, all I did was see that a race happened to work with our travel plans and talked my husband into signing up. He ran the 10k and I did the half.
2 months prior to the race, I realized that this race is known for being very hilly and challenging. Boy was it.. there are stairs and switchbacks and constant hills. But, there is also a beautiful bridge to cross and amazing scenery. It end on an island with a brewery, is there more to look for in a race? If you want a challenge, but one well worth it, RUN THIS RACE
