I do this race every year. (I like doing the I Challenge so I run the 5K the night before to let some of the jitters out and get more bling.) This is the most magical finish line. The 5K, half and full marathon all end on the 50-yard line at the University of Illinois football stadium. It's something to finish there. You see the football stadium as a beacon home all the way on the last mile. Truly awesome. It's not a major city or a major race but the volunteers are still great and there are some kind folks who cheer you on so it's not quiet on the course although definitely not loud. I love getting the fleece blanket every year for doing the full, and the medals - once so-so - seem to be improving in 2019. Love this race and would recommend it.
