I didn't pick the best year to run this race because of the weather (68°F with >90% humidity at the start), but the course was beautiful and crossing into Canada and onto Belle Isle kept things interesting. Aid stations were spaced a little too far apart for the first half, especially given the temperatures in 2017, but on the back half the aid and crowd support was much better. The last 8 miles, including Belle Isle and the River Walk, were really pretty. Downtown hotels are really convenient to the start/finish. Post-race food and drink was good, and bag check was very efficient.
