Brent Peterson's thoughts:
I think there was 106 people signed up for this race and 98 finishers. The course is downhill and get ready to run downhill. It is also much cooler at the start as you are quite high up on the mountain. You have to use a headlamp to start and you can drop it at the first aid station. They have it for you at the finish. This is FAST race.
There were no porta potties on the course so be prepared to use a bush or a gas station. A couple of un-controlled intersections which had volunteers to help you cross. You also had to stay on the should as the road was not closed. Lots of really fast down hill miles and a hot and humid finish.
