This is a great race for a great cause. It is held at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody so it is dog friendly. They offered packet pickup prior to the race at two different locations in metro Atlanta 1-2 days before the race. I took advantage so I could wear their cool tech tank while I ran the 6K.

LOVED: Friendly workers and awesome volunteers. The course is nice with some elevation throughout. Swag bag was cute! Prize money for top 1st-4th place finishers and plaques for top age group finishers. Plenty of water on course. Cool finisher medal! Live band to entertain us all and a ballon artist was a hit with the kids!

What could be improved: A LOT of walkers in front at the starting line made for an extremely congested start of the race, it was almost dangerous, I saw a couple of kiddos almost get ran over. Hopefully the announcer can say something next year, for the safety of all. Yellow jackets invaded the park but that's out of control of the race management. I wish they offered bananas, but they did have bread!

Again, great race for a great cause. I had fun!
