First time ever to run the MCM. It was great seeing all the Marines cheering us on, taking selfies with us, and high fives galore! Very inspiring to visit with them leading up to the start line and at the finish.
Course is hilly at the beginning and end. Mostly flat, especially running through DC. Scenery is pretty awesome, obviously running through all the monuments, parks, and the Blue Mile. Great mix of crowd support and silence (Rock Creek Park).
The Marine Corps Marathon is definitely a bucket list run!
