Running a shorter distance than the marathon gives you the experience of this city without the miles! The shorter race follows the marathon course for a bit and starts before the marathoners so if you time it right you can still see your marathoner along the course! Some hills may be difficult for those accustomed to flat running. Crowd support is excellent especially through the neighborhoods. Race day weather is always within the ideal range!
