Only asking for a deferral to 2023 as husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in Jan 2022. Asked question on Portal and followed up with signed doctor's letter (but after race) as husband's life was in jeopardy. No acknowledgment of letter until I reached out to re-register for 2023. They won't defer. And sadly - not even an “I'm sorry to hear “ acknowledgment of the circumstances. Luckily he's still here, and I'd love to run in 2023 but can't support this management as it's truly Management in it for the money. I'm also local, a previous participant and volunteer.
