I marked this as a Half Marathon review, but I ran the full Ultra challenge (all four races over two days). First, I cannot express how impressed I was with the race management and organization. I was a little nervous about the logistics of running 4 races over 2 days, but the team was ON IT, moving start/finish lines for the races so by the time you finished one, you knew exactly where you needed to be for the next.

Logistics aside, I'm dying to get back to take on one of these races for a PR attempt. The majority of the courses are dead flat, and the weather was just about perfect (especially for the early races). It was a little tough getting out of bed for the earliest start times, but worth it for the cooler temps. Great crowd support along the course as well!

My legs were SCREAMING by the time I finished that final 8k, but man was it worth it for all the incredible swag and medals. And don't forget the FREE BEER at the after party! This race had been on my bucket list for almost a decade and I'm so glad I finally got it done. I will definitely be back!
