Please note this was my first race.
The EXPO was great, it has lots of information and vendors to find out lots about new brands, races, etc. As a new runner it was exciting and I was so excited to run next year already!
But the 5k race wasn't as fun. First NO parking, good thing my husband was nice enough to drop me off and then wait for it to be over.
It didn't seem to have a good corral system, runners were on top of each other and their was no announcement about what side you should be if your walking vs running. No one around to ask other then other runners that didn't know either. (Remember I was in the back, new runner)
It was difficult to get running because you landed up running into someone with no room to go around because of the narrow running lanes.
Now positive note: The music was great! The Runner were amazing and friendly! The after-party was a blast. (I voice my concern with Rock n' Rol teaml and it looks like I wasn't the only one, they say next year 2017 will be different) It will be worth going to try it out again.
