I don't expect a ton from smaller marathons. Get me to the finish line safely and with enough water and calories.
For the most part they did that, although a few aid stations were dry.
There were no timed corrals, which I appreciate because no one honors them anyway, but it took a long time to get the middle of the pack across the starting line.
The course is great,very few blase spots. 90% of it you cover twice as an out and back. The 13.1 turns off pretty early on (mile 7), which is nice because I never settle in until I know I'm running the same distance and everyone else.

For what it's worth, the medal is so big I couldn't keep my head up with it on.
