Michele 's thoughts:

This was the first event for Sticks N’ Stones and it was a huge success. It was organized by 2 ultra runners (Jeff and Heather) and they did a fantastic job. The event provided distances for every level. 5k, 10k, 25k and 50k. It took place at Christie Conservation in Dundas Ontario which provided a beautiful scenery. The course was made up of a 5 k loop that went around the lake and the pathway was clean and wide enough for runners to pass one another with ease. The aid stations were approximately 3k apart so you never went without and the selection was overwhelming. The best part of this event was the finishing medals and plaques. Jeff had made them all himself out of trree branches- they were sliceed with the race logo burned into it and the distance durned into the back. I cant say enough about this event. It was one the best i have run from registering, information emails and FB posts to the parking, markings of trail, aid station options , finishing gifts and the encouraging cheers . Check it out next year🤗
