This was my 5 major marathon with Tokyo my last (I was signed up for 2020) - Everything about this race is epic. So many people. Lots of aid stations. Music, energy and more. The only thing that got me was the bridges as I didn’t train for any hills and I had run the Twin Cities Marathon the month before. The tour of Central Park was a big highlight and the finish. Take note: UBER has SURGE pricing and don’t count on an easy to find ride. I took the subway back to my hotel.
