The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is an exhilarating, one-of-a-kind marathon celebrating the breathtaking scenery and iconic bourbon culture that Kentucky is renowned for. As a proud participant, I can attest to the thrill of this event. Starting and ending in the heart of downtown Louisville, we embarked on a journey through the enchanting fall foliage of Cherokee Park, passing by numerous downtown landmarks that filled us with a sense of accomplishment.

Upon crossing the Finish Line, all of us, fellow participants, and I were treated to an unforgettable post-race celebration. The Urban Bourbon Bash was a delight for the senses, offering us complimentary bourbon tastings, refreshing beer, mouthwatering pizza, and delectable Kentucky burgoo. All of this was complemented by the sweet melodies of local live music that serenaded us, creating a magical atmosphere.
