A scenic 7k loop around the Yarra river of Melbourne. Three options to choose from: 7k, 14k and 21.1k. 100 additional meters of half-marathon mark are added after the second loop. Minute details like such are taken care beautifully. Aid-stations were sufficient (3 stations in one loop i.e. 7k distance, that's plenty). However, no T-shirts or SWAG material except a Bib. Also, the entry fee is pretty cheap!! Actually the cheapest for any distance as compared to other events. I can not say about parking because I use public transport, but given that it was near a public-park, parking shouldn't be a hassle.

This was my second half marathon and it taught me a lot of things which you can find here in details:

I had not much experience of running up and down the mountains (because I live in plains) and that was the most struggling factor for me throughout the race. HOWEVER, the scenery along the route is so beautiful and so serene that it could pull you through the entire course. In my case, it let me walked :D

This was my first HM and the final race before I left Taiwan. I had previously trained for other shorter runs, but training for this race during my thesis submission had not been so easy. I fought for free time and ran hard during that. I ran anywhere at 4 in morning (or night) to 12 in the night. However, the weekly mileage had not been much.
I've penned down my full experience here:

Fantastic concept! There is no defined finish line for you to stop. A catcher car starts after 30 minutes of you into the race and you run until it catches you. This car is slow at first (15 kmph) and gradually picks up the pace to 20 kmph during a couple of hours and further tops at 35 kmph. Unique concept, right? But that's not it. It happens in multiple cities throughout the world AT THE SAME TIME. I ran this race in Yilan, Taiwan in 2016 and I am gonna do it this time in Melbourne, Australia. My review/experience from the 2016 race could be find here:
