I have run this 3 times and look forward to it. Very well organized and supported by police/ aid stations. My age group is well represented with some fabulous runners so there’s some friendly competition going on :) After the race there is food and drinks/beers while we wait for the award ceremony. Fun time

First off, Nashville is a lot of fun. So many people and so much going on made for some hairy minutes waiting for an uber to get to the race. We decided to drive and park. The start was fun and a beautiful morning. The weather could not have been more perfect. Any complaints about the race would be a lack of hill training beforehand and traveling/ walking around too much the day before. So my race time was not a pr. It was a challenge personally but the support and cheers along the route were great. Afterwards we went out to eat and that night watched the amazing fireworks from our AirBnB. Just a great time overall. Next year I’m going to hit those hills stronger 💪

My family and I came down to Nola to run this race and to enjoy the Easter weekend. It did not disappoint. We ubered it to the Superdome and avoided all traffic and parking problems. There were 16,000 runners but it was easy to get into my corral and just enjoy my run. Afterward the festival had great music and lots of beer. A good time was had by all!

Montegut is in south Louisiana and the run takes place along levees in the coastal Wetlands. The scenery was beautiful, the weather balmy and the support incredible. My only “complaint” would be having Gatorade at the water stations. This is a different type of trail run. The levees were either grass or gravel/shell paths and elevation is sea level I brought my college kids along to do the 10k. Just an awesome vibe with the main theme being coastal restoration and preservation!

When I first arrived in Lafayette I was told to go to a bowling alley for packet pick up. Sounds weird but all was normal, just not an expo at a convention center! The race itself was well run with lots of police/ traffic support and aid stations all along the route. The after party had a variety of Cajun food and plenty of beers (IPAs etc) Overall a very good time and I highly recommend
