This was my first of the World Majors and will not be my last. The course was ridiculously flat (although there were a few baby hills, nothing too crazy). This was a tough year though because the temperatures. It started at 71º and went up from there with high humidity. The aid stations were great though and had plenty of water / Gatorade to offer. Going through all of the neighborhoods was amazing and the crowds were out in full support! This would be the perfect race for anyone wanting to run a marathon because it is one of the flattest and fastest around.

This was my first vacation race and wow. Just wow. The expo was unforgettable and I can’t explain it in words, you just have to experience it. Race morning was a bit rough bc it was raining, but such a pleasant race. There were a good amount of inclines (especially in the beginning), but it’s all worth it when you get to the top. The last little bit of the race is awesome! You are def out in the middle of nowhere when running, and there are points where there were no “cheer stations” so it’s true grit in those parts. The area cares about environment so they provide water packs so you can refill at water stations. Highly recommend this race and any vacation race bc the scenery/experience is worth it!

Love this out 1.5 mi and back turkey trot! This was my first turkey trot and I have to say it was fun! It was pretty cold out the morning of the race (November), but the crowd and fellow runners heated up the event with their positive vibes 😃🙌. I took 1st in my age group, which was cool! This course had some slight inclines, but overall pretty flat. Always fun running on closed roads that are normally full with cars. Highly recommend running this race! 👍🏻👍🏻

Everything about this race is amazing! The expo, the course, the runners ❤️. My sister lived in the area and told my wife and I about this race and we ran it and dang it was fun. You run through 2 states too! The hills were tough, but if you power through it, you get a nice downhill after. Soo much fun! Clearly bc I ran it 2x!

My wife and I ran this race upon a recommendation from a coworker. I’m glad I ran it bc the scenery was amazing. Starting with a hot air balloon take off in the early morning and ending with a custom medal made out of a horseshoe! Stunning views and the inclines were tough, but that’s what you expect in Lancaster. Don’t forget to leap over the “road apples” tho lol. Love that area and this race. Would highly recommend, although there is a cap on runners, so register quickly!
